well my name is Maya, i'm a Lebanese 24 year old college student and i have a job. That's all i guess... you can ask anything else you want to know :) Oh and i forgot to say: I am not a terrorist. Just thought i should clarify that... well since you know, i mentioned that i am Lebanese.
It is, but it seems that some people seem to think that HR have the final call...
(3) technical details after my interview and this is how we ensure we get people that fit both requirements.
(2) but i do know if the person i'm interviewing has what it takes personality wise to make the cut-the the hiring manager goes through
(1)I'm a recruiter for managerial positions and i usually handle the initial interview. I don't know about the technicalities of the job
As a recruiter, I hate these systems too. They're not entirely effective and they waste candidates' time.
Not defending all HR, but speaking from experience (i'm in HR in a British company now) - the decision is almost always not ours...
Some of these are not on Netflix in Lebanon though...
Recruiter here, oh so many resumes and names to remember.. this helps a lot actually!

(1) Well we honestly love life, and we try to live it fully. We have a lot of diversity and we are more similar to the west in a lot of areas
Me too!
Hahaha you should see us here in Lebanon!
Exactly! This is the case almost everywhere.
(2) they don't tolerate being spoken down to or bossed around even the veiled ones. Sure there are exceptions in rural towns though.

As a recruiter, i receive almost 300 applications per vacancy. There's noway i would be able to answer each applicant specifically.
As a Lebanese driver, i have to agree. Taxi drivers here are crazy and the worst drivers ever.
Wouldn't call my mom that! Sorry for the phrasing though.
Hopefully!
Will do that then!
I feel that we should have a comparison with pictures from today. @OP will you do it or should i?
Exactly! We're like the party capitol of the region, Beirut is beautiful and we dress and act as we like.
It has already been rebuilt. We live very normal lives here.
Touché.
You should drive in Beirut, if you leave any space at all some idiot is gonna cut you off for sure.
enforce it on others. But unfortunately that's not what's currently happening.
I agree. I just think that everyone should be let free to live however they want, i don't care what anyone believes in as long as they don't
The difference between me and the killer is that even though i think what he believes in is wrong, i would not kill him for it.
or Christianity, than this would not be his will. His will would be for all humankind to live equally.
