That does sound cool. What I like is that my University starts using drones as often as possible, which is pretty neat.

A lot of different factors. Could be soft soil and the building could have sank partially or maybe people kept building on top of the rubble

To my recollection is that the ground at Lugdunum was not favorable for a villa so none were build there. Only in the southern Netherlands.

As someone who studies Archaeology, excavating things up to WW2 can be seen as archaeology so you won't really excavate anything younger 1/?

No. Why do you do this? Holland is two provinces. The Netherlands is a kingdom with a European part with twelve provinces and our colonies.
