There is an old proverb that says "A society grows great when old men plant trees under whose shade they'll never sit". It's definitely an investment to society, which is more of what the world needs
I'm not saying you're wrong, just that it's not been my experience as a building controls tech that works in hospitals. Every patient care room gets its own terminal air box with it's own thermostat. But also yes, fuck administration and insurance who run healthcare as for profit.
If you've got your own room, does your hospital not give you control over your own thermostat?
