Thick coats in warm temps are even worse - imagine wearing a winter coat in Florida that you can’t take off.

In 2012 a 72yo man represented Japan in the Olympics. I’d say his career has been pretty long. You just have to choose a sport w/ longevity.

You are thinking of saddle seat or big lick. Dressage is 90% stretching if you know what you’re doing. It’s only painful if it’s forced.
