I can say I will never afford any of those horses, nor a stable-box there, nor a riding-lesson :D

Ok I want to be you!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As a former barn worker and avid rider, this made my day. Miss that wonderful horse smell.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Be careful who you leave to tend to them: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110802190019AAnRzah

Expensive backscratshers

You have a LOVELY facility! And I like watching this especially cause my horse is currently lame so mostly walkies.

#1 "Dammit Char you made a clean spot..." - Grey, probably.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Your barn is cleaner than my house

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It’s cleaner than mine too

@OP runs a tight ship! Look at those grounds!!

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

My rats do that itchy scratchy thing

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I cant afford to look at these photos

6 years ago | Likes 100 Dislikes 1

That’ll be tree fiddy for talking about said photos.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

BTW, this is your reminder that horse people are crazy.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

dated a horse girl, colleague said you'll always come second to the horses - she was right - dodged a bullet

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I grew up on a horse farm, going to horse sales, shows, events, everything. It's very, VERY true.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Literally everything is beautiful.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you! I’m really lucky to have great clients/horses/facilities to work with.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love your ponies. So beautiful. They could eat off that floor, it’s so clean!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Beautiful horses, I like the braids you gave them. :)

6 years ago | Likes 102 Dislikes 0

Thank you!

6 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

beautiful big money horses!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How does one train a horse to be a horse? Asking for a friend.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Beautiful setting

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Those stables and grounds look spectacular.

6 years ago | Likes 228 Dislikes 0

And freaking expensive as all hell. Those boarders have ALL the dough. I mean, like, all of it. So much money there.

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Average joe has no horse there.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Thank you so much! My team and I work hard to make it all happen.

6 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

Evening barn? It’s exquisite you do a wonderful job I can tell

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That riding arena is beautiful, love the open parts with the view of the trees and all that natural light

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Impressive stuff! I’m following

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In the "After Chores" picture, what kind of flooring is that?

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The floor is cement with rubber pavers over the top - it’s easier on the horses feet/legs.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I thought it might be. Reminds me of the type of rubber padding you see on some playgrounds. MUCH easier on those hoofies!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes exactly!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love horses, and I'm not even gay or female

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Dont have to be either to love them. My step son loves to ride

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Some of the top riders in the world are men! Also, it’s a great way to meet women. Women in tight pants and tall boots everywhere.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Indeed ! I've met Philippe Rozier, gold medalist in Rio 2016's olympics (40 years after his father). For the rest, I take your word ! :-)

Do you ever go to Wellington fl?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes! I’m based in Tallahassee, FL in the off season, but I usually go to Welly for competition season.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

9/10 would shoe horses in that barn.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks! We can always use good farriers in this area.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All I have wanted in life is to find a career around horses like this. Too bad growing up in suburbia and not having connections preventedit

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I grew up in Oshkosh, WI - I started with no money/connections as well. If I can help, send me a PM.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Must be nice to horse around all day.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m really fortunate, but it’s a lot of work too! The pictures make it look glamorous - sometimes it is. Most of the time it’s intense work.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pun aside, I have a friend who trains horses and it seems so rewarding AND so hard.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where are you located and what level do you compete at?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’m located in Tallahassee, FL. I’m a Silver medalist preparing to compete at Grand Prix.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Good luck!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do you have current saddle sponsors? And only dressage or also jumper?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Always looking for sponsors! I am dressage focused now, but have evented to Prelim.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

v any second and that horse will eat that dog, I'm sure of it.

6 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

Why is the dog armored?

6 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

+3 to horse defense

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Lol it’s her blanket - she gets cold easily.

6 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Is it a tinny version of a horse blanket? Because I love it!!!

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

It is! I tried to find one that would match my horses blankets, but couldn’t find one in her size.

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

It’s the cutest thing I have seen all day.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have dover ones for my dogs, they love them and people always comment on them

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

that is ridiculously adorable and the best-outfitted barn dog I've ever seen :-)

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hate to see the head up high and the neck bent like that. That is so hard on their back.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Too much auxiliary reins, neck bent, poor rich horses

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

These are upper level horses - they are only asked for this work once they are strong, and are given lots of stretchy breaks. Dressage=yoga

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Wow so many downvotes...those bad few eggs in dressage really ruin it for people who who do things right and proper.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Upper level expensive horse so let's tweak its neck into an unnatural form. Dressage = bondage/restraint. Head low, neck stretched = yoga.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

You are thinking of saddle seat or big lick. Dressage is 90% stretching if you know what you’re doing. It’s only painful if it’s forced.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

But everyone is entitled to their own opinion! Certainly there are some unsavory practices and trainers in the industry.
