The whole "trust in pollies" thing is so frustrating to me. We literally trust in them every single day to pass legislation on our behalf. But when we're actively told they'll be doing so suddenly we can't bring ourselves to do it. Sigh. I have become all too cynical at the state of affairs in the world, there is little hope left. This is why I shall remain childless.
