The stinkhorns are some of the wildest mushrooms out there! Some look like geometric lattice balls, some look like a hand with claws, and some even look like dicks! Even weirder, despite their unappetizing looks, you can actually eat them! The "eggs" are excellent pickled, and some species are eaten mature, known as " bamboo mushroom"! They're also fast growing, and can pop up over night!

Fun fact, my mom once pulled a dead frog out of my pocket, so she stopped going through them before washing stuff. Fun times

Wow, looks to be a llama skull! Nice find! Are there any ranches or sheep farms near you?

Where'd you find it? It's definitely an agate, but where you are can help determine what type. What a lucky find!

Milk on the way to to the shame cart. If it is planted though, they did a damn good job. Looked exactly like all the other signs. 2/2

Not me, alas, I'm too much of a chicken to try to pull something like that. I only noticed these because I wanted to check out the choc 1/2

It can be tricky to tell though, especially since some other snakes will vibrate their tails when scared, so people see that and panic

We actually do something at our local schools called Snake's Alive that teaches exactly this! Don't kill sneks!

Rupture from high speeds. It also prevents water from being forced up their noses and helps make them more streamlined. 5/3

They breath through a special slit in the mouth located on the upper mandible near the base, completely eliminating any danger of lung 4/3

Help air pass over the nostrils while the bird dives. Another example is the complete lack of nostrils in gannets/cormorants. Instead, 3/3

The amount of air that rushes in through the nostrils. For example, most falcons have a special knob in their nostril that is thought to 2/3

I would guess from the air being forced into their lungs. Birds that are natural divers usually have some kind of adaptation to negate 1/3

Not really... most red capped boletes that stain blue instantly like this are toxic. Not deadly, but you'll cleanse your gut real good

One word: Parasites. Lake water isn't exactly clean

As a skull and bone collector, these bug the absolute shit out of me. And not just the ear and invertebrate parts
