I still have an exact hub like that on my desk at home! It's awesome. Had it for years. :D

WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW

Yeah, it's fun when you can find mutual interests. :)

Haha. I'm married and I have gotten her into HEMA too, that feels kinda right too. xD

Maaaaybe...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah. It really would. And if I also got a house, that could leave room for the room full of all the swords that I'm going to have. :D

True that. xD You can get some killer chops though, that's nice at least. Want a lawn that I can have a pell on to do some strike-work...

Yeah. Just gotta stuff it in between the other swordy business. Also it helps when you find someone to play with. :)

1890 I think. Not so fond of it though. Would really like to try some polish sabre or something, that would be really cool. :)

I like it a lot. :) Never tried sabre when fencing classic, and at our club we've been working with a Swedish military sabre manual from

Yeah, it's real fun. :) Was never fond of the longsword, even though it seems like it is the weapon most people use.

Their swords. :3 I mostly work with rapier and sword and buckler. :) Done some longswording when I started years ago, and also montante.

Nah, not that much. Mostly people just stick to concentrating on their weapons, which makes for great surprises for them when you do grab

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah, I see. You mean if I grab swords or what type of weapons? :P

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haha yeah, or right in the face. :D

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It is? I wouldn't imagine. Yeah, never tried sabre when I did the olympic fencing either.

There's always one hidden somewhere if you look hard enough. :)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nooooot allowed with epee/saber/foil, I can imagine though. :P

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

making them confused and loose concentration. :3

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aye! And also sword-grabbing. :) When you're close enough, and think fast enough, just grabbing your opponents sword-tip does alot for

stress-work. ^^

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah. That combined with good point control works quite well. Get your sword-point up in front of the face of your opponent makes for good

But I have more squiggly bits! D:

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(not me in the film though, but I think it's really cool!)

everywhere when you look around, just a bit hidden. :)

for the weapon you are interested in. If you're not in a HEMA club, see if you can find one around where you live, they are almost 3/?

fencing clubs. A friend showed me to the place and then I got stuck. I'd try looking up a few good translated treatises and some guides 2/?
