I like turtles...
This has been my favorite species to grow so far, all the color phases are beautiful, I always miss the f Socks though. I have 3.

It's a species of dwarf tarantula
I have more than a few T. albopilosus, they have so much personality!!

Correction 37 tarantulas (26 different species) and 2 scorpions and a Carolina wolf spider.

Such a feisty girl, this species is on my bucket list.
Tarantulas have retractable claws and spend allot of time grooming, especially after a meal. Pretty much an 8 legged cat.

The positioning of the eyes tells me jumping spider. Which there are more than a few species with beefy forelegs.
This resonates with me.
I'm at 24, goal is 50 untill I buy a house.
Their hair makes them hydrophobic, traps air around their lungs. A few species have been known to swim and even hunt fish.
I've been eyeballing the Psalmopoeus genus for a while, I'm not typically drawn to arboreals but I'm in love with the irminia.
The whole time I've lived in NC I've seen more jacked up trucks and Jeep Wranglers stuck in snow than anything else. Skill > equipment.
