If you want to help financially but are nervous about it, put a small percentage of each paycheque in a separate bank account used for giving. It can be even 1% if you can afford that comfortably. There's a book called Pay it Forward and it's a great guide to save (for business and home).

When I was a kid, I wanted to know what was inside it so in the toy department of Zellers, I bit into his arm when nobody was looking. Corn syrupy goo is what poured out.
My dog would do this. Except it was as if he wanted to climb directly into my skin. Nothing would calm him until he lost his hearing.

I remember landing on the bar once and effed up some nerve endings. Can't feel the skin on part of my back.
My 5-yo is learning how to read and just about every other word, I have to tell him there's a silent k or s or e, JUST BECAUSE.
I listened to Limp Bizkit recently (36) and was embarrassed that I thought it was great music when I was 14...
