@OP we got him from a pound in Huntsville. They said he is about 2 1/2 years old. Seems pretty likely they could be related.

I’m numb to it as I ran up on a similar scenario as a kid. The adults didn’t keep me away. Being a kid I thought I could help with bandaids

Have a piece of plane wreckage when my great uncles plane went down. Crew survived and buried the plane in the sand to hide their presence.
