I’ve been working with my client close to 2 months helping him sell his property. I personally collected keys & took them to get copies, helped him give our receipts for rent, gathered signed estoppels, and did everything in my power to help him sell his property. We were supposed to close on the property this Friday for him to start his new life. They suspect he was murdered. RIP Lee.

UPDATE:

He lived in one of the 11 units at the property. I had made copies of tenants keys since several of them were either disabled or had no car. Paid for them out of pocket & was constantly a pillar of support to the tenants & seller. They said he had been dead for 3 days. I stayed there the entire time with his family until they took his body. His next of kin is his son who is in hospice & the daughter-in-law has power of attorney. Not sure what’s going to happen with his properties, but advised said DIL to speak with a title company & real estate attorney. Spoke with detectives & gave them all the info I had on all the tenants.

As a Lee who recently bought a property.. I’m super paranoid now.

We were negotiating a loan mod for a client when the husband committed suicide. It was approved that day. :<

Kiss that commission goodbye

That’s horrible. My condolences.

Family member.

Just look at it this way. You got him ready to move on, just not in the way you expected.

The woman that bought my condo killed herself shortly after and left the condo to some random dude.

Everything seemed normal until "random dude"

I just closed on a house. If someone had murdered me after all that work, I would haunt the fuck out of them.

But only when they are trying to buy or sell a home

Oh no. Full time. Full time ghosting. Like Casper, or that ghost, from the movie ghost.

You spelled ‘killer deal’ wrong

^this is why I imgur

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Very interesting that his will left the ownership of the property solely to you, huh?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A deal to die for

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Probably not going to get paid now are you?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably not. I spent countless hours speaking to over 20 different tenants. Shit happens.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was the Realtor, in the dining room, with the revolver.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Where the hell was this?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a Lee, this is slightly concerning

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Client was found murdered in their own (locked) house, and OP admitted to creating copies of keys? Smells like OP wants 100% commission!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I never said it was locked...bc it wasn’t. The keys I copied were of the other 10 units at the property. I helped disabled tenants get keys

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was he single? Might have been searching for solace. Not your responsibility, not your problem. Do not dwell on it, not your doing.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

Suspected of murder. Solace doesn't come to mind

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He was a 75 year old veteran. He had invited his daughter for dinner to celebrate the sale that Friday.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im also a realtor. We frequently get close on a personal level with our clients during this process. My condolences.

6 years ago | Likes 1096 Dislikes 2

I mean, you'd have to, especially if you were also a serial killer like OP.

6 years ago | Likes 127 Dislikes 3

Yes. If. ...if.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I've seen those videos on Pornhub.

6 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

Man, as a guy who's never needed a real estate agent I never understand those. Just an odd thing to get you going "Oh, a REAL ESTATE AGENT!"

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I can attest that I've never had this effect on any of my clients

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you mean you never had the desire for someone to go to your ear and lovingly whisper "It's free real estate"?

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You had me at "free" love! #?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I dont trust realtors closing abilities since they get paid a percentage of the homes sale price. Theyre literally worse than csr salesmen

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 13

We get paid to do a job, and only paid when we close a deal. No closing, no check. You don't have to like us but your argument is weak.

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

You have no initiative to negotiate a lower price for the buyer.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

A great example of "technically true" that absolutely does not play out in reality, so let me educate you. We make money through /

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2 referrals. If you aren't happy or think I haven't negotiated you the best price, you don't hire me again nor do you refer your friends /

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I just saved my friend over 20k on her home & she has over 15k in equity plus a new flundation w/ a lifetime warranty. If a house is 1/2

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Doesn’t appraise for the value then most loans won’t fund. You have no clue what ur talking about. Most negotiations r usually about repairs

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So you helped out a friend. Should i be surprised?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

holy fuck, take this post down, it may make you a suspect in the crime..

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

They believe it was a home invasion or retaliation for evicting an old tenant. He lived in a 11 unit complex I was helping him sell.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's no motive she would be sabotaging herself if she did it

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

if the person died, they think its a murder and this person publicized it before the police made it public themselves, thats a paddlin.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Must've been a killer deal.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 7

Take your upvote and fuck off

gotta work faster

6 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 8

Had about 4 hours of work to do over the last 3 weeks. Still have to finish that last hour before Friday. Peter in bed is my spirit animal.

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Lol this is me. Just don't care if I get fired or not because next spring I start what I actually want. So I do my work, but on average++

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

++I'm in the office maybe 3-4 hours a day. Sad I can get all my stuff done in that time. Just hate doing it everyday. Can't wait till spring

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hope you got a witness or an alibi

6 years ago | Likes 786 Dislikes 12

never mind that... I hope you get away with it.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

What do you think this post is?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It couldn't have been me, officer. I only had 3 sets of keys to his house!

6 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

I didn’t have any keys to his unit. I was selling his 11 unit property. I made copies of some disabled tenants keys since they couldn’t

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There is no Motive here so ...

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

There is always motive if you want one like her neighbour or family member did not want her to move away.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Putting a note on his door and losing a sale isn’t exactly the act of a guilty person

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I had left a note on his door & had a bad feeling. Was going to call for a wellness checkup that afternoon since I assumed he was sleeping

6 years ago | Likes 355 Dislikes 0

Sure. Sure. Say...how'd ya kill em?

6 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 41

It’s a 11 unit property.I met with the tenant in the unit next door. Knocked on his door & there was no reply. Left a note on his car & apt

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

His cleaning lady found him

Was going to call for a wellness check... whatever. You are cold blooded OP. I hope you at least have a code like Dexter.

So the maid did it.

Very convenient OP.

6 years ago | Likes 152 Dislikes 7

I mean OP doesn’t have any motive... that we know of anyways.

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Op actually has a deterrent since this will probably mean they don't get payed for their work.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Rumor is the old man recently updated his will to leave possession of the property solely to OP...?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Plot twist: OP is serial killer who pretends to be a real estate agent to hunt for potential victims.
