Next time use masa, it’s kind of like corn starch but it adds a nice flavor
We don’t use much water, more tomato sauce, typically no beans, and we add masa to thicken it
That looks like stew, sorry I’m more familiar with Texas chili and ours doesn’t look like that

It goes back even further than that with the League of Nations deciding that Britain should control and administer Palestine and create settlements for Jewish people by taking land from Palestinians. Over 100k Jews migrated there even before WWII
