How can someone be in a business like this and not know how it works....
How can you be convicted so many times and not go to jail?
Not as much as German Telekom then disconnecting every day at midnight and your download of a couple of MB that took a couple of days was broken....

You are a civilised nation, that is a big difference
There is the movie Nonnas on Netflix about this restaurant.
Airlines have special chairs for that, I've seen plenty of times how people get transferred to those chairs, so they can go down the aisle to their seats.
Let´s go back to 1494, when Portugal and Spain split the world 50-50, with the Treaty of Tordesillas
At my former company, our boss would also never sign without us running after him. After complaining to higher management and HR, they introduced a rule that all leave requests are automatically approved after 15 days (2 weeks). My boss took this as an initicative that he never again has to sign any request, since now they are automatic, so we all have to wait those 15 days.Result, every time someone is away the boss asks why they are missing and we say they are on leave: "But I didn't approve"
Her home is actually registered in Switzerland and she had an undocumented cleaning lady. She is the opposite of what she actually represents politically and preaches to all.
That is true, thet's why I wouldn't call it bilingual. To me, that is when you speak 2 languages fluent at home with your parents. A 2nd mothertongue.Calling everyone bilingual just because they speak two languages is not correct. My comment was a bit sarcastic :)
In Germany they start teaching englisch in Kindergarten already, and so do most schools across Europe. I guess they are all bilingual then
That is good for him. Here fireworks is forbidden apart from New Year, though most people start 2 weeks before and go on until a week later. It takes almost 2 months for my dog to go outside again without being afraid, because he learns in 3 weeks of fireworks, "If I go outside I will be terrified".
The UK learned that the hard way shortly after Brexit, when they didn't renew and revoked work visas. Transportation ground to a halt, as foreigners weren't allwoed in anymore. Supermarkets were empty, gas station as well, etc....All those jobs british people didn't want to do, they were amazed how quickly a country stops working
To me, as a foreigner to the US, the absolute worst thing is: We already knew all that before he was voted for president the first time. And now they voted for him a second time. The entire thing is a copy-paste from a few years ago. Everything said the first time applies again now, only things got even worse and people really saw for what Trump is. And even so, he still won."I will slap your face and screw you". And the people: "Yes, please do so again".This, to me, is the absolute worst.
The absolute worst and most incredulous to me is, they voted TWICE to get him as president!! As if the first time wasn't bad enough to see who he truely was.
That may be, but the majority of the voters went for Trump. Regardless of how many that is, it still represents the majority of the country and in my opinion says a lot about the population. And all the ones that could have voted and didn't, they are as much at fault as well.Voting is a civic duty. It is the ONE chance people have to have a say. You decide not to use it, that is still a decision that was made.
It is sad that over 50% of the population in the USA falls into this category... I don't know what is worse, that Trump won, or that so many people are unwise
