Still true today.
Rangefinder/night vision system I think
When I went I was there was about 5 of us in the whole place.
I do! And pictures of the artillery guns. Although imgur app capped me at 50 pictures.
Near Cairns, largest armour collection in the Southern Hemisphere!
No, it was some kind of rangefinder or night vision apparatus. The M47 was obtained from the Dutch army.
I think only the UK used tanks in this manner. Although "Cavalry" tanks were used basically the same way other forces used medium tanks
Yes faster medium tanks, the British cruiser,Crusader,Cromwell tanks etc Also the British operated Sherman's
It was the tactic they used in WW2,"Infantry" tanks being used to support infantry manoeuvres & "cavalry" tanks used to perform flanking etc
A slow tank that moves forward at the speed /pace of advancing infantry (old British tank doctrine)
Satisfy both your military hardware & ocean produce cravings in one day out!
If they did, it was not on display. They were expecting a handful of new tanks from a collection that went up for auction in the US
Probably outlawed after WW1 with other chemical/biological weapons...
Yeah, largest collection of armour in the Southern Hemisphere apparently!
Pun intended? ????
