Android Authority did a video on both the S8 & Note S8 and they both opened with a picture. Maybe it's a little smarter but still possible.
2/2 but with the iPhone X, it uses a 3d model of your face which can't be bypassed by photo.
It's not revolutionary but it's better implemented than Android. Currently with the Galaxy series a picture can unlock your phone 1/2
