I seem to clarify this fairly often, but masturbation doesn't mean self-pleasure. It means hand-based pleasure. If I stroke you off, that's masturbation. If you get off by riding your exercise bike with a dildo attached to the seat, that's not masturbation. If your toys are hand-powered, that's still probably considered masturbation, but that's about as far as you can stretch it before you're misusing the term.
