Software support when talking about phones can relate to software updates. I assume that’s what OP means.
Software support means software updates, new features that aren’t bound to hardware for 5 years instead of 2 is a big difference.
You can disable swiping left to access it. (Punch your home screen to access edit home screen, untick the toggle on the Bixby page)
Assuming the person is competent with the controls gesture nav is way faster. Directly compare going back to home screen for example.

Vanilla Android, and a few OEMs do, most people don't quite get how Android works. Samsung does not include it as far as I know.

Fact check: Apple designed the screen and Samsung manufactured it. The screen is unique and not the same as the S8 or Note8’s screen.
What weight do you think an old article like this carries? The X is the 2nd best camera, beaten only by the Pixel 2 according to dxomark.
Resolution is nowhere near everything, it’s only one aspect of a screens quality. Again, Android user for 9 years here.
Android have had better screens for years (up until the X) and still have better cameras. The strength of Apple is software.
I'ma tech guy who has been on Android for 9ish years. Plenty of reasons to go iOS over Android. But these stupid memes are just untrue 1/2
