My wife had a similar situation. She's big on Dr. Gabor Maté. Once you realize you can't change people, nor is it your responsibility, it's when you begin to learn how to let go and all that weight begins to lift. I wish you well on your journey!
Just picked up the 3rd one as I did not know at the time she had the other 2. Found her on Instagram, lots of quick, easily digestible snippets of info, so it's not everything overwhelmingly at once. Both my parents are f'd, one emotionally immature and a wicked narcissist, the other emotionally unavailable and a user of substance to numb. The further I go back, the more I realized how bad everything was, but that's when the healing started! It's actually become quite enjoyable letting go

Brewer here. Not only is that tank under at least 20-30psi, but also "cold crashed" to -2°C to aid the absorption of C02. cold AF and you'd be choking on the air from C02. trust me, I did this exact thing in my first year, it sucked.
