After walking slowly towards the road for twenty minutes. The moose decides that he doesn't want us around anymore. Everyone is tough until the moose starts walking straight at you.

Over and over, the Rangers tell the tourists, "In the presence of wildlife, DO NOT GET OUT OF THE CAR!"

As someone who lives near the park. For the love of all that is holy, please listen to the rangers. So many people get injured every year doing dumb stuff near the wildlife or around the hot pools.

In our defense the moose was more than 200 yards into the field when our tour stopped to observe it. The moose slowly moved through the field towards the road and had only reached the 25 yard recommended distance when he decided to scare us.
