How matters a lot here. If Iran got through American stealth tech, that's monumental news. Laying an ambush trap on a pre established route isnt. Serbia proved thats how you can take down stealth craft in 1999

the ayatollah along with the branches of the government are walking a fine line. They have to respond to the US but also not in a way that will provoke a full invasion from the trigger happy administration. If they dont respond they risk an uprising along with their funded terror groups ignoring them. Keep in mind an Invasion doesnt mean occupation. Invasion is boots on the ground taking out the government and military. Which the US can certainly do at any time.

Hasan is just a streamer. He saw evidence the US was getting ready to attack, and assumed Iran saw too and would move everything. He doesnt have a source backing it up. The problem with his thought process is the type of equipment that needs to be moved and the whole reason it was built in a mountain. The equipment can't moved quickly and always gonna be a target for attacks, so they gave it as much protection as possible using the mountain forcing a ground assault to take it.

The US can afford both universal Healthcare and an inflated military to invade whatever country they want

The positive side to this is Iran isnt gonna be helping Russia as much with drones if an actual war does kick off. To preemptive cut off the WWIII comments 1.) even if Iran has nuclear weapons today, they wouldn't be in quantity or yield size to be a threat to anyone outside of the middle east 2.) they dont have allies that would come to their Aid. Russia would be the only one and they are busy.

The Muslims in India are Sunni while Iran is Shia, so no help is gonna come from there. Egypt is also mostly Sunni and doesnt have the great relationship with Iran. Really the only "allies" Iran has its terrorist organization in the region they helped fund. But the bigger ones have been either taken out or severally degraded recently.

to answer that you have to understand the nature of the SCOTUS and its members. Every member of the SCOTUS is egotistical and power hungry to some degree. Being on the SCOTUS is also a life time appointment thats difficult to be removed from. Trumps appointments dont need him as this is the end point of their career. They dont have to listen to them if they dont want to. Recently trump has started encroaching on the judicial branches power, SCOTUS members dont like giving up power

which will be appealed up to the SCOTUS, however based on recent rulings they probably wont rule with him. He seemed to gotten on their bad side which is hilarious. Also cooperate America is also firmly against the tariffs which they are gonna put their thumbs on the scale.

seeing Syria is already failed state and Assad used sarin gas on his own people, yes that is an improvement

yup, still better than assad

the head of the main rebel faction does seem better than Assad. Though its actually difficult to be worse than assad

power struggle*

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

you are probably correct. which sucks, but thats geopolitics. None of the rebels are gonna willing work with Iran after the past 13 years. Whatever government that comes after has two option 1.) piss off everyone in the middle east, dooming Syria to balkanization or 2.) identifying a clear enemy the people unite behind (for nation building) and picking aside in the greater regional power with the possibility of allies and aid

Oh Assad is fucked. Russian straight up doesn't have the resources to help Assad retake the cities let alone beat them back. At a minimum it will take 2-3 weeks to get troops and supplies organized and sent over. which the rebels potential could be at/taken Damascus by then

Biden is a lame duck president now. No major geopolitical changes are gonna happen that includes a full arms embargo Israel. Even if he did do it, it would just get lifted in 2 months
