The word is "ahrah-koon-em" and it translates to neither "wash" or "bear". Also, there's a lot more natives than just those two groups.
The powhatan called them aroughcun. Aztecs called them mapachitli. Alquonquins call them ahrah-koon-em. Which natives called them that?
It's literally right outside Union Station.
Agreed. I spent most of my childhood playing their games.

I worked at a theatre around the same time, and I have to say these are all true. It was one of the best jobs I've had.

I don't mean disrespect, but the most entitlement I've experienced is from middle-aged individuals who should know better.
