Friendly trash panda.

Long story short, my friend got annoyed by the trash panda that was hanging around her window so she invited it in.

And offered it a wholesome snack.

Your friend is now dying from a whole host of trash panda diseases.

What kind of dog doesn't stop drinking from the toilet when there's a racoon eating chips in the house? Guard dog of the year.

Your friend is a very dumb person.

Add raccoons to top of the list of animals we need to domesticate. Oh, and increase the production of domesticated foxes by 500%.

I give them food/shelter in my back yard, but truth is they carry too many diseases, at least around here.

My mom had a trash panda named Rikita. It loved nothing more than slapping bratwurst out of unsuspecting people's hands & motorcycle rides.

This can't actually be a wild panda can it? Maybe after weeks of gaining trust .., I realized I wrote panda and just decided to leave it

He has internet at his fingertips but he doesn't know what to feed it?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

After many attempts trash panda resorted to the cutes to get him in the house.

It's all fun and games until Rabies.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Do you want rabies? Cause this is how you get rabies!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Raccoons are known to have a parasite that causes at the very least severe brain damage in humans.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you want rabies? cuz that's how you get rabies

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As an owner of a raccoon I approve except for this is a random raccoon not a domesticated baby solo probably bad but congrats on no rabies

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rabies.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your friend has a decent chance of dying to an infectious disease from that thing. Cross your fingers she doesn't.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

Raccoons can carry the rabies virus without any sign of symptoms, that is a horrible idea to knowingly allow it in your house.

10 years ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 4

Also the parasite Baylisascaris procyonis

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes! THIS is what people should actually worry about more than rabies.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every mammal caries rabies without symptoms... until it hits the brain. A raccoon is far more likely to be carrying distemper.

Natural selection, just let this happen.her kids might invite a mountain lion to dinner .

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I just realized the contract name on the phone, might be best for natural selection to happen here.

scaremongering nothing more

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

If you treat him for worms it doesn't sound worse than any 5 year old kid. Now they have spreadable diseases.

You guys must all be animal experts, you can clearly see the raccoon have no intentions of biting.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 9

not at the moment but if you've dealt with raccoons you know they can get violent & attack for any reason. they're are smart little assholes

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can everybody calm down and TakeAChillPill I agree the animal in its current state appears to have no intentions of biting. :D

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

If you look really close you can see it's evil plans right in its eyes

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To steal the bag of chips and run back out the window maybe.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that's a really good way to get bitten

10 years ago | Likes 171 Dislikes 5

I just imagine you saying this is the monotone surveillance camera man voice.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Who says I'm not?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dogs used to be wild, till we let them in the house

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

I'm sure their was some trial and error there. Now we have the means to do so more safely so why not

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes but the difference is dogs were domesticated to serve humans a purpose. Cats also.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, humans were domesticated to serve cats a purpose.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

So why can't a racoon have a purpose

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Honestly they are incredibly intelligent but the only use I could come up with is to help a thief.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This seems like a horrible idea. That said, I think it would be awesome to have a pet raccoon that was like... safe.. I guess.

10 years ago | Likes 724 Dislikes 3

Except for the Leptospirosis...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had a pet raccoon. Sweet and smart, but they can get into a lot of stuff so you have to be watchful of them.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This guy sure loves his raccoon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DfGf4M3QZo

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy shit that's funny...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

agreed! domesticate like they did dogs and I would be one of the first in line for a pet raccoon

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My aunt had one as a pet. They are very smart and their little paws let them open anything. It literally ate all of her food when she left.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I had a pet raccoon when I was a child. It was quite safe, but it would break stuff... and it killed the parrot. It was great to play with.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Worked at sanctuary where they had one with braindamage, from an accident. Named him Dumbledoor, looooved yogurt.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I realize I may have spelt that wrong and people will descend upon me....I'm so sorry.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a pet coon once he was pretty tame for the most part, he was always getting into stuff and making a mess. Eventually I had to let 1/
