192.168.1.255 is a broadc">a> is a broadcast ip of the 192.168.1.0/24 network for exemple. The client bits must be all at 1 (so 255 if it's a /24)

In terms of network this is not a broadcast at all. To have a broadcast you need either a MAC broadcast (FF-Ff-Ff-...) or 1/2
