I would pay good money to go to that live action movie if you were to promise me that the entire time Alan Tudyk would be strutting around in a chicken costume, never breaking character. Imagine the Rock trying not to break while Alan Tudyk is pecking his face into the ground or crowing over the Rock's lines. That's money, my guys.
One can certainly criticize and question the loss of civilian life, but what often gets lost is that Dresden held over a hundred military factories, acted as a major transport hub for the military and concentration camps such as Auschwitz. It was a major support hub for the German military in several ways. Dresden WAS a military target, but HOW it was attacked can, at the least, be debated.

I work tech in poultry. I visited a hatchery when I started. One of the managers said that sometimes to cheer himself up he would fill a shoe box with baby chicks, go to the break room, and let them run around in his chest. I thought to myself that if that man doesn't know how to live, no one does.
And the sociopathy of ending it with how it affected the image of white people in Mississippi. Not the terror it spread through the black community, not the horror that the court case made it clear that the justice system gave a pass for murdering a black child. The focus here is on how it affects the image of white people and Mississippi. Evil. Just Evil.
Iran is not turning down the chance to take a journalist on a western channel and give him a curated tour for controlling the narrative. This war is bullshit, but let's not be on here pretending that the ruling power in Iran are anything other than the monsters they've shown themselves to be again and again. Even then, this conflict is still unnecessary and stupid and only to benefit old men who belong in the same jail as many of the leaders of Iran.
Yeah, all of that is one of the many reasons I cannot stand the man. I am deeply frustrated that the party is not more openly acknowledging how useless and detrimental he is to the party as a whole. It's like how Dem leadership tried to pretend Biden was a great choice in 2024 right up until they had to stop pretending.

All that said, I agree with you. Schumer needs to go. He's all but a republican when it comes to his stances, and he's strangling the life from his own party.
The Israeli government's stance and arguments are a lot more built around culture and ethnicity rather than a religious argument. They tend to reserve religious arguments when courting the US right. Israel operates far more as an ethno-state than a theocracy. So I don't know if his loyalty is cultural, religious, or ethno-supremacist. Or just money. Politicians be like that. (2/2)
I don't even know if it's a matter of faith. Jewish culture is very different from Christian and is often far more secular (albeit no faith/culture is a monolith, and Israel and the Jewish people are NOT one in the same). I'm curious as to what goes into his mental math when it comes to supporting Israel. (1/2)
It's a nice pattern, but I wish that lady would get out of the way so we can see how well it balances with the room. Honestly, the pink linens kind of clash. Too many warm tones.
From what I recall from biology and animorph books, no, ants from differing colonies will kill each other on sight. The message of the metaphor is not a bad one, but the biology is inaccurate, sorta like he metaphor of a frog not hopping out of boiling water if you heat it slowly.

I wonder if the child was unable to get vaccinated due to the cancer treatments. Some of those treatments can really weaken the immune system, so they may have had similar restrictions to immunocompromised children.
I think it also might be a tradition to give flowers in Japanese wrestling, so it might also be a sign or respect. But that is just a guess on my part.

If by REAL, you mean competent, then yes. However, there are a number of police shootings where someone tried to pull away and the officer panicked and opened fire, unfortunately. What ICE did is not new, though it is evil.

The best thing she could do was directly state the exact crimes this walking HR lawsuit was pretending were no big deal, and his only reaction was to try to pretend that she was overreacting and that he was the calm, 'logical' voice. He knows what he said was evil, but he still pretends she's the crazy one overreacting.
It's dismissive of some of the worst crimes a person can commit all without directly saying he did not care so that he could defend himself if called out by saying 'hey, I said the law should be followed'. It's a lie that doesn't show in print, requiring someone to watch the source to hear it. Fucking evil. 2/2
It's a sickening but kinda fascinating way he found to lie. He didn't lie with words per se. When she called him out, he quietly agreed that the law should be followed. The lie was in his tone. The lie was how unbothered her was by it because the lie is that it's no big deal. By taking the tone, he creates the falsehood that he's the 'calm and rational' voice, but also creates the insinuation that this is not that big of a deal or a problem. 1/2
