Always does. The grieving process just….sucks. The pain of loss is proportional to the bond.

-and there is good news on the horizon. The private aviation industry is currently testing no-lead avgas, but FAA changes/approvals are 4/
-refined than standard diesel fuel. No argument, the quantities of jet fuel burned and environmental impact is not insignificant. 3/
-powered, typically privately owned, 2-6 person aircraft still burn 100LL; commercial jets burn Jet-A, which is essentially a little more 2/
Well, let’s be a little more rigorous than ‘airplane’ fuel. Jet-powered aircraft don’t burn leaded fuel; single & double engine piston 1/
