I'm at work at a hospital in Reno today where his son works. Just heard about this from a doc. Word is their whole family was super close.
I feel you. I was in the CG and mostly flew around on helicopters in the Bay area. Not bad, but I had it real easy compared to combat vets.
I'm sorta high. This was a good picture to land on when I first opened the app.

Woooo!
Okay. So then don't let your kids watch it.
I love them both equally. Her costume was planned. He decided last minute to be a Viking also. Hence, he got the spare parts.
From the show "Vikings" on the History Channel. It's very great. Loosely based on the life and legacy of Ragnar Lothbrok.
Me too! And last of the mohicans at 7 and braveheart at 10. I'm successful and have a great and loving fam. Rules and etiquette be damned.
No disrespect felt. My kids are wonderful and I love them dearly. All families are different. I don't recommend everyone follow my lead.
To each their own this little girl is so loving and sweet to all she meets. Gives of herself freely to anyone in need her time and energy.
Thank you!
Her choice. She reads and reads. Anything she can get her hands on. She's quite brilliant and I am quite proud.
It's true. A real heart breaker like her mother is (but she's already beautiful).
Dumb.
Yeah it's a foam sword, and she's wearing a costume so... kids gunna be kids.
If I had a nickel.... son doesn't watch. Daughter sees the important parts. They're not immersed in it totallly. Wtf....
Ha okay. My kids are gonna be serial killers for watching parts of Vikings and being smart. If it takes smarts no chance you'll be one then.
Hmm. Good thing you can raise your kids that way you want. Don't try and raise mine.
I let her see the violence. She's mature. She knows they're actors. It's the sex I make her leave for. Too young to understand that yet.
Yeah yeah. She's 8. But she is a scrapper.
True. She can see this because it's /based/ on real stuff. She knows that's how wars used to be fought but that violence is a last resort.
She's not a normal child. Very mature. 8 years old and a college reading level. She doesn't get to see the whole show.
It's all about immersing them in things YOU love. They will follow.
Welp. It's based on real history and my kids aren't losers. She's 8 and reads at a college level. She's not like other kids her age.
I know you didn't. It was more ME specifying that I hope people see that my kids and their folks have a good relationship.
I am not one of those people. These kids excel in school and have loving family lives.
From their daddy! Truth be told Liam doesn't watch it, but Darby watches with me!
