I think this is hilariously great cos to me its a comparable to men modifying their cars. Bloody brilliant.

Raw Power Gon is stronger and always will be. But in a fight if Killua was in Gon's MC position Killua would win every time.
Personally I think Killua is the OP one, his potential with the lightning far exceeds the raw power that Gon brings to the table atm.
His blood can also restore powers to any mutant that has lost them.
Immortality and the ability to manipulate his own molecules however he wants and can give himself any superpower he wants. Essentially a god

I think the simplest solution would be a fingerprint activated fob and a bolt lock. Would be enough to stop most amateur robbers.
Electronical is not the way to go for security cos it'll always be hackable and you cant prepare for everything. So simplest robust is best
