With so many artists out there and a worldwide market, if an artist wants to be discovered by people beyond their local market, then they need to be on streaming services. I have discovered so much great music that I would never have found without streaming.
I am a long-time Deezer subscriber since they beat Spotify to the Canadian market. However, they have a favourite artist limit of 200, which is annoying since I am old but keep discovering new young artists.
