My mum got me that cat cushion because she "just had to" xD I'm a well known crazy cat lady nowadays.
A type of yarn called ribbon! It's basically a tube of fabric, kind of like a flat shoelace. Really good for projects like this.
I knooow! It's one of my favourite pajama/lazying about shirts.
One day I'm going to take pictures of all my stash. One day.
It'd definitely be possible! I'd have to adjust the base though, because it gets really wonky if you make it too large, and won't lie flat.

In all fairness, one of the cats have a habit of digging through the trash can, so it's not entirely off.
