That's the best fruit of the biosphere. Why isn't it as popular as banana? OK, bananas are durable and easy to peel, so why not mire popular than strawberry, that fragile bitter thing?

That VR would be a great thing empowering humans with vision and 6dof to create new stuff. But people still favored their chewed tiny phones, social medias, and AI, so corporations have all the narrative control and people are at the mercy of their algorithms.

I... I'm honestly kinda glad this was produced. This feels like something that MAGA may actually watch. I see MAGA as the root of most of our problems, and we tried to reach them in so many ways. If this seeds some doubt in those knuckleheads, I'd say silver lining. Not because this was good, but because nothing else is working. Iran is not bringing a knife to a gun fight. I watched this with a mix of awe and terror - I was expecting nuclear vs stones, this reads as nuclear vs nuclear.

I wonder if he timed the pillage of Venezuela correctly. I bet he planned his gang would have the stolen oil flowing by now, but since those lazy bastards have power by money and not competence, anything that requires some effort gets delayed.

The distress claims covered on the article sounds common to many users. So unfortunate that most will go on with their scars, and social media companies will go on with their abusive profits minus 1 hush money. I can't even imagine what a truly fair outcome would look like. - What I'm trying to say - and I know it sounds bad - I'm jealous she's being awarded compensation. I can't shake the feeling that people that sue are generally already wealthy, and this reduces this as good news.

Unsatisfied, I'm still wandering the comments in a quest for meaning. I've just had lunch and should get back to work, but this is important. I need to fix this attack on my sanity.

On top of everything bad, another dreadful thing is that we, the people, have no incentive to contribute or even do our job. I've been dragging my feet for months now, trapped in limbo. The only thing I started looking forward is - honestly - the sweet release. Even if he were to die and the GOP magically implode, it became clear a lot of people are actively sabotaging our communities. I lost any hope of things improving before I expire in a few years. If's going to suck.

This subject interests me greatly. But I take issue in pinning the problem to screens or phones. Blaming devices is like blaming liquids because some people are alcoholic. I think that type of content (social media, games of one or other type, AI chats) plays the bigger role than the device. Yes, groups of similar people likely use devices with the same pattern and could think their devices are the source of their common problems. But other people can use the same tool with positive outcomes.

Humankind is in a bad place (could use some help), poor decisions from government/leadership is greatly responsible for putting us in jeopardy, I do think AI could be used to help finding a way to correct course, but PRODUCTIVITY is not the thing lacking. We need intelligence (human and not) to start sketching a plan for UBI in a way that the oligarchy won't try to sabotage it. Economy bros are tunnelvisioned on stonks going brrr, THIS IS the problem caused by dumb human brains.

Those 3 cases sound arguably more like errors than a pattern of corruption/incompetence. It's not like they are using crypto to take bribes, removing clean energy contracts, firing people by trigger words, receiving a plane from Catar, killing people...
