Came onto the site today for my daily dose of smiles and memes, stumbled onto this and now im crying in the middle of my work shift because I have an older cat who's nearing the end. Goddammit you @op

I nearly committed suicide in 2021, I had my father's 22 rifle and put the barrel in my mouth. Then I realized it wasn't loaded and the ammunition was in my dad's dresser closet, which was very noisy to open. That small thing kept me alive. I eventually got help and now im much better mentally, but its scary how close I came to ending it all.

I am so so sorry to read this. I have a baby girl kitty too, had her about as long as you had Luna, and i will be a tear-filled wreck when she passes.

As an Imgurian who works as a delivery driver for a pizza hut, I'd be happy to deliver free pizzas :D
He calls her a good dog eventually. and BOY WAS SHE HAPPY ABOUT IT
They have a dog robot in Destiny 2, not even a real actual dog, but everytime I pass it I activate "Good Boy protocol." at least 5 times.
People talk all the time about humans and their relationship with doggos, while understandable, there is also that same level of love and devotion between a human and their cat. I've had my Cherie for almost 17 years and I will be devastated when she passes.
When I was at Fort Leonard Wood MO for basic we stayed at a barracks that was the site of a suicide during the Vietnam War, had several encounters with the ghost of the soldier who killed himself there. Mostly he would just be at the other end of the long hallway from our platoon and would stand guard, but disappear if you walked down to his section. He also spoke to me when I told him I was leaving the barracks and I will never forget his words he said "I wish I could leave too."
I've had experiences with both sides of the coin, one treated me like dog shit and constantly belittled me in front of other employees. The other gave personally out of his own wallet to help my family during a crisis I had one year when both my parents were hospitalized from a car crash.
It is rumored that he is the model from whence Ian Fleming made James Bond, as he was good friends with Ian Fleming during the war.
Speaking as someone who nearly committed suicide in 2021, it takes a lot sometimes to just keep going. I got some help from family and close friends and I encourage all those out there who are struggling with their mental health don't ever do it alone. Get someone to help you. A family member your friends, a coworker you trust, there are resources for you. Never think that you are not gonna make it, that it's too much, you can get better!
They played and slept together until they were old and my Tooka died. Her sister is still doing well.
We got my Cherie and her sister Tooka when they were both about 6 weeks. Getting kittens of the same litter helps in adulthood.
As a lover of board/card games, i do in fact flip a lot of coins!
