Hi, I'm in North Carolina, family of 3, trying to get soms groceries to help us last the next few days till my EBT resets, we usually use food pantries but due to the winter storms the ones we use have closed down temporarily which has left us a bit out of schedule with our usual routine. Either way thank you guys for all you do for the community here, you guys are awesome.

Hi I'm in Concord North Carolina, I just had gallbladder surgery a couple days ago and they gave me some new rules on what I can eat for the next couple weeks, we currently don't have anything thats particularly good for me to, mostly stuff that's not allowed, fried food, fatty foods, spicey foods, if anyone could help with getting something for tonight or something that could last a couple days I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks for doing what you guys do!

I hope so, turns out I've been misunderstanding gallstones as indigestion for 9 years... So glad I won't have to deal with it again

Will do! I find finding something to draw difficult, maybe I'll just try doodling occasionally to see what comes out!

Hi, I'm from Concord NC, I was hoping to see if anyone could help me get groceries for my meal prepping as most money for our food budget goes to the other 2 in the family since my diet is different from theirs. I would greatly appreciate it! Also happy holidays imgur!

Hi there, I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me get groceries for myself, my family usually eats together but recently the doctor has given me a stricter diet plan which doesn't quite fit in with everyones eating habits, since we recently moved out of the hotel and into an apartment I've not had the budget to get my own mealpreps setup. Thanks for taking the time to read and thank you guys for all you do to help out fellow Imgurians

She's doing alright, she had her surgery and is finally doing better! She's just got a bit of a cold now but a vet aptmnt tomorrow morning to be safe

Given what you've said regarding price, I'll definitely check into other vet clinics nearby to see about them but I don't have much hope so far

The previous vet said she didn't feel her hospital was qualified for the procedure, given the trouble it took them to do just 2 extractions before, I've contacted 2 other clinics and neither of them would do a full extraction either

Thank you so much I appreciate it feren!

I will try to look for another specialist nearby but the original vet said the second nearest vet would be on the far end of South Carolina, this one was already a couple cities away

Something I forgot to mention in the post, the specialist basically confirmed she has stomatitis. She's basically had infection and pain for a good few weeks, I assume this is one of the reasons why it's so expensive, the other is likely due to xrays. You can see from another post an X-ray with about 15% plan discount was around 600-700$, just for that procedure and everything else she needed to stay healthy during it.

Thank you so! Sorry for delay in response, just got done with closing shift and rebound shift

Essentially yes, she has pretty severe issues all over and vet is recommending full removal since just a month ago her first surgery left her mostly fine, and some of the teeth that the vet didn't even consider potential issues are the ones giving trouble now

I'm so sorry to hear that, I'm hoping our girl will be happy and energetic again after the surgery

I appreciate it! We're assuming she'll be happy and healthy afterwards, she mainly eats wet food anyway and if we have to puree her food thats no issue for us since we already do that for her cause she can't chew

I have the dental/ mid level plan! Also thats a good idea, might see if she likes catnip, tried when she was younger to no effect

I haven't found much around me thats within travel range unfortunately, I take public transit so getting to places more than a mile off that is difficult. Although most things I've found are basically just low cost clinics instead of places that offer payment assistance
