I'd try a therapist instead of a psychiatrist first. Usually a therapist will empower you to solve issues on your own instead of using drugs
At a big school like that, that cafeteria manager could easily have a masters degree. Those jobs don't open often and they're not everywhere

We are not anywhere near UBI needing to be a thing. There are plenty of jobs available that cannot be automated for decades
