If only. I wondered this ever since the first time I did taxes. I was 14. And back then you could still find a local, reasonably priced, personal accountant to do that stuff. Now they all seem to have disappeared in the face of the big companies. (As has been planned and executed)

I feel like that’s a softball over the plate. Little mental gymnastics required.
Not confused with, more adjacent to. And no none of them had a clue what it meant but were convinced I was using a dirty word. Then I threw “Bailiwick” just to really see them do mind gymnastics.
As an “American” US Citizen, can confirm. Many are fucking morons. Had a bunch of cashiers at my job convince themselves that the work “Purview” was somehow a dirty word. I can’t believe I vote along side these idiots.
I’d love to see anthing close to that in the crap we have to use at work.
