It really depends. Some are very defensive and mean amd others could not care less. I'd guess that Nagini mostly liked us for heat though!

Yep! They are a constrictor species and are nearly harmless. They can still bite, but they won't kill you
Not venomous, but she could still bite if frightened. Bullsnakes are a pretty harmless, constrictor species
Nope, box turtles are definitely turtles, although they spend most of their time on land similar to a tortoise!
Northwestern Kansas. Definitely look around at your state parks and reserves and such and see if they have positions!
Ball pythons definitely. They're very popular as pets and are generally friendly and easy to care for
