The HP books have some nasty undercurrents, like the goblins being close to antisemitic caricatures. So I'd say, regardless of whether she manifested her beliefs, they were still part of her work.

My headcanon since early in the series was that witched evolved from a group of humans stuck on the Boiling Isle.

I've recently updated my BIOS, since the CPU TPM2 emulation didn't work on the old version (I was updating to Win11 since Win10 support was running out). The feeling is real.
