cop and the bad cop. I wouldn't "vote" for any of the two. But if forced to make a choice, I wouldn't opt to support a country that is governed by a literal terrorist group, not only aiming to destroy Israel, but all Jews and unbelievers in the world. But fuck both of them really and let them have at it. There's bigger and even more violent atrocities going on, to guilt trip people is nothing more than virtue signaling.

I don't see Israel parading murdered babies and toddlers or celebrating executing ~1400 people in streets. I don't see Israel executing their own inhabitants because they're not pro-Hamas (or pro-Israel in that analogy). I don't see Israel publishing videos of their own children making them shout "death to Jews, death to all unbelievers". I don't see Palestine co-living with a completely different religion (~18% of Isreal is Muslim). As if there's a choice to be made here of who's the good

If they were supporting the Gazans that got executed by Hamas for protesting against them, that'd give some credibility than just joining the "fuck X, go Y" stupidity.

It kind of doesn't help that a lot of very vocal protests for "Free Palestine" have visible Hamas supporters running amongst them or even leading the protests or chanting the Hamas "From the river to the sea" genocidal slurs. They not only want to remove Isreal from the face of the planet, but kill any non-muslims alike - and let children chant this exact doctrine over and over. Where are the protests in favor for the Gazan people standing up to Hamas and get executed for it?

False dichotomy eats Occam's Razor for lunch.

This isn't a whataboutism, Hamas has the exact same playbook for their genocidal intentions. It's just that they don't possess the capability to execute on it. They literally had it in their manifesto, to kill every Jew (not even Isreali, just every Jew). To think that they're solely out for blood because "occupation" is really not knowing the 80 year history of the conflict. If Israel overstepped, fair enough, I might agree, but by no metric of the UN or other, are they committing genocide.

not just Jews in Israel. The war is disgusting, but your comment seems to point towards a single sided religious inspired targetting of people. If you know anything about the conflict, you well know that is by far not true.

That goes both ways, straight from the Hadith: "The Hour will not be established until you fight the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say, 'O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him. Both Judaism and Islam are at their core longing for the end of this world and get into the afterlife. Christianity too, but thank God (pun intended) we had a shift away from that since the Enlightenment era. Hamas furthermore had(s) in their manifesto a call to kill all jews

Fair assessment I believe :) The 50% that thinks socialism = bad is barking up the wrong tree. The majority if not all Western countries are social, liberal democracies. We have pensions, health (most of them... :)), and other social services to help out the ones in need. What they immediately think about is communism or other (radical) socialist regimes or countries that have failed over and over, perhaps?

I wonder if it would be cheaper to bulk buy insuline in Europe and ship to the states.

From a European POV, how you guys not get your political establishment to get socialised healthcare implemented, is way, way beyond me. From my POV car insurance (which is obligatory) seems to be a no brainer, and it costs so little because everyone does it. But health care...nah bro.

Interesting, yea, if they were driving manual gear, I guess they could shift in to a higher gear and try to stabilize things. It did look like they were having fun and it wasn't their first trip down that street :D

Chasing Jewish students, harassing and physically attacking them on US campuses. All coming from those damn white supremacists. 3 women getting the question: "Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate their schools" and not being able to reply "yes"... well, there was only 1 black woman there so, white supremacy again, mostly, right? I wonder what the backlash would be if 3 white men would sit there and say "calling for killing African's is not necessarily against our code of conduct".

#1 Running or doing some kind of physical exercise while sitting on your ass the rest of the entire day has been proven to boost brain activity and overall mental health. Part of the reason why people burn out is because they're sitting / hanging in front of a screen all day, then go home, and do it all over again. For the triggered people, science points out "Part of the reason", not "The". If you're sitting the entire day, please, do some offset exercise and avoid all kinds of disease.

Right... First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.

And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, 'O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.' And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large chulapas...

For those wanting to punch nazis, Amsterdam is just ridden with them. Just shout "I'm a Jew" and you'll get plenty of opportunity.

I'd say it's more when religion just gets into power. It was like that before separation of "Church and State" in the West as well, across centuries. Fuck religion.

"boinking a Rohirrim"... any source on that? I like fun facts about LoTR. Just like when Aragorn broke his toe kicking the helmet after which he had to yell anyway...but the yell was probably also because he just broke his own toe xD

"actors" as in, they were not professional or amateur actors. They were literally just horseback riders with 0 movie or theater experience. I wouldn't call myself an actor if I just rode a horse in a movie, but...that's me.
