Well I'm already through book 2 after 3 days. Gotta say I'm depressed and feel real bad for Vin. She is a child that must be protected. No more tragedy for her. It's illegal
I'm just getting back into reading with Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy. The first book was sooooo good and I'm a few chapters into the second and absolutely loving it. Maybe I'll try the Licanius Trilogy next
Just treating dogs well doesn't make you a good person, but if you treat them badly, I instantly know you're shit. It's more of a blacklist filter than a whitelist

If I waited like 1 hrs to go to the hospital mine would have burst. I woke up with so much pain after a night of drinking and drove myself to the hospital cause I knew something wasn't right. Same shit happened to my dad at about the same age lol
I looked something up, apparently the beads of light that I mentioned around the moon aren't good to look at. They're basically the sun peeking through valleys in the moon's surface and they can really damage your eyes. I may have fucked my eyes up a bit lol.
I was hoping beyond hope that the skies would clear. It looked terrible the whole way there, and clouds kept passing by up until that last 10 minutes before totality. I got really lucky with where I chose to go.
