I don't think it ruins it at all, on the contrary I think working with AIs expand our way of thinking beyond our reach. I'm not saying we should leave everything to AIs, I just think that we can learn from them and progress with them. Just see how alpha zero found new creative ways to play chess that actually inspired grand masters
