What you're actually seeing in this picture is a jacket around a protective layer around a 'buffer' layer and finally we get to the part that's carrying photons which is 0.125mm in diameter. Were it exposed, you would not be able to see it in this image.

I dont care about this guy and many other but beside that the US criminal justice system is so absurd on many different level but even more specifically how its viewed in the collective mind. And im pretty sure people constantly joking about jail rape , picking up soap & hypothetic prison justice is indirectly enforcing the system. I don't wish bad things on any person as a principle, it's simply not who I am. I acknowledge the officers [not just this one] were lawfully wrong and therefore earned their sentence in a court of law.
I would encourage to review the evidence and rulings though. It was clear that at a certain point they should l have backed off and the situation was under control. Then they doubled down for several minutes resulting in a gruesome public execution.

Even if Chauvin hadn’t intended to kill Floyd, he certainly was enjoying torturing him. He was deliberately causing pain to a guy under his charge until that guy died. That’s murder in every state
