Have you seen shutter island? I’m curious about your thoughts on it if you have, cause I think it’s one of the best of this trope ever made
Yeah definitely can, especially for bilateral shoulder disarticulations. But for unilateral, the benefits out weigh the cons
Most upper extremity prostheses use your shoulder bones/motions to operate the device. They can definitely be stressed out but it’s slow
Even the most “advanced” upper extremity prostheses are still incredibly difficult to use especially as a bilateral shoulder disarticulation
The socket has to go up that high cause your main weight-bearing surface is your ischium, a bone in your pelvis.
Nah, close but the one is above the knee (transfemoral) but it’s not a hip disarticulation. But the other is below the knee (transtibial)

Take LotR for example - Amazing combination of practical effects and CGI.

I was just contesting the claim “consoles need rapid replacement”. Perhaps it didn’t fit into the grand debate/context.
I’m still playing the same Xbox 1 I’ve had for 5 years. I had my Xbox 360 from 2008-2018. I wouldn’t call that rapid.
