They can stand if they like, but the viewing angle is good enough that we all sit without any issues

Yeah I'll be building a rolling cart for the workstation with a bit of legroom in it so it'll work better, this was a trial run with it

i personally like it a lot more than roll20, less of a learning curve, and much more intuitive in my opinion

We did, but we already had the extra tv, so it worked out well, there is a pine cover that sits nicely on top of the tv to make it solid too

Actually there isn't any stretching involved, players all have their sheets in front of them and just point to where they want me to move

I am married, my wife is in my D&D group

There is a 1/4" lexan sheet to cover the TV, so any liquid won't touch it

I sit in front of the workstation (moved the chair back a bit for leg room)

Samsung smart tv, there is plenty of ventilation under it, so it doesn't overheat at all

If it was a crt yes, an led tv can sit like that as long as it has proper ventilation, which it does (I used to do repair on those

Yes. 1/4" lexan sheet over the tv

I would say look at your local gaming store if you have one, they usually have specific nights of the week they do games

Dungeons and Dragons

for D&D i'd say there isn't much difference, mostly just screen real estate, but for video gaming and movies, yeah, its WAY better.

Works really well, more screen space to help declutter the windows needed for DMing, and it doesn't hurt that the picture is amazing

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
