Stressful times indeed, just remember antibiotics take time, even when given IV. Keep breathing, make sure you get enough nutrition and rest

2/2 Early on with the family and keep having the conversation to make sure you aren’t delving too deep and forgetting the bigger picture.
ICU nurse here, this won’t be the last time you have to deal with this kind of situation. Have the difficult ‘goals of care’ conversation1/2

How do you treat the women in your life? I certainly hope it’s better than you are treating Dr. Ford.
deserve better regardless of their political party. It’s not about Republican vs Democrat, it’s about what’s morally correct.
It’s unfortunate that you feel that way towards women who are being honest and incredibly brave. I hope you one day realize that women 1/2
Who doesn’t respect woman enough not to assault them shouldn’t be deciding their fate when it comes to reproductive health.
It is clear that he is not an appropriate choice for the Supreme Court, he’s not on trial, no one is trying to send him to jail. Someone 1/2
he keeps touching the area so even if he did do that before the video started it would be futile, especially without gloves
This looks great except he’s not wearing gloves and didn’t clean the injection site with an alcohol swab, Put the kid at risk for infection

I LOVE THIS
Actually for my unit at least we run everything except the vent which isn’t pictured. The docs don’t run CRRT we do.
We are 2:1 but are 1:1 with certain patients. We were so short staffed the other day we had to pair balloon pump patients with other pts
No one sleeps at night in the hospital that’s when people get crazy
Happens all the time
I set this stuff up daily
All the time!! Plus people get confused and think they are at home and try and get out of bed
There is a country wide nursing shortage and nurse burn out is a major problem and places don’t always want to pay enough to retain nurses
