fun game: count how many times the word "people" is used in the comment section
Maybe being the type of person who complains about being stood up on an image sharing website is one of the reasons you got stood up...

Buy some real ass plates, this looks good and all but using paper plates makes it seem you made this in a tank top and gym shorts w/o undies

Attaching yourself to something creates vulnerability. It is up to you if that's a good or a bad thing.
Was that a bad thing or was it just harder to process?
It is easy to say that "I like this," but it shows compassion and interest to ask for more.
I've been told that any criticism should be taken as a thank you, and any complement should be seen as dismissal.
I can't solve your problems, but i can say how I feel. Then you can use that to approach things in a new light.
Does my perception of the piece change the way you view it?

Complete the statement "Art is..." then think of how others would finish the same statement.
Never identify as an artist. Those who do are just copying others (once again, limiting yourself based off of expectations of what "art" is)
Also, I would recommend to stop making yourself the victim. Thats an easy way out of facing your problems.
Criticism can be constructive. Don't hold yourself back by accepting what you already can do.
don't get complacent
