I manage an Amazon DSP, and this job is vertainly frustrating at times. I delivered for 3.5 years and found it to be the best job i have ever had though, coming from the restaurant industry it was an easier job, that payed more. But I totally get that its not for everyone.
The best (and most enjoyable) series i have read thats heavily based on a specific magic system is the "Lightbringer" series by brent weeks. Essentially people can use different colors on the light spectrum to make spells with whatever color they can use, and each color has different strengths and weaknesses. And the main character isnt even some god tier messiah. Great magic system, great characters. All around good stuff.
This needs some pico or something then im on board.
Which is a heretical twist on the imperial war cry " Blood for the emperor, Skulls for the golden throne!". Im actually not sure which one came first, but somebody is mocking someone else with these 2 sayings.
