I think it's more about drying the meat out a bit which concentrates the flavor.
KANEDA!
I read somewhere Moore was more or less parodying detective tropes like The Question.
Also dry brining you steaks for a few hours is an easy way to remove extra moisture while improving flavor.
Build in a shipping option for people who can't travel but want to contribute. I bet those poop delivery gag companies would get on board.
Well the Darkwing reboot is supposedly still happening.
This is why I like being the cool uncle. When the tantrums start, I can always walk away.
Bottom right is Dr Brix, who was a respected HIV researcher. She burned her credibility covering for Trump during COVID.
Alien Ant Farm. I loved their Smooth Criminal cover but the rest of the album was disappointing.
They martyred Babbitt for not following cops order while telling you to just follow cop's orders.
Vietnam and Algeria didn't go great for France either. I would be curious to see how the foreign legion stacks up against the US though.
That Scyther costume looks amazing!
Same with Patrick Stuart as Charles and Ian Mckellen as Magneto. Casting director must have thought that was too much talent and gave us Famke Janssen as Jean to balance it out.
Hell, they snitched on Luigi.
Hell yeah Boris! I've got their anniversary 3lp of Pink and the 25th anniversary lp of Amplifier Worship.
One drive is awful, but I am able to mostly ignore it. Subscription fees for the office suite I'll don't actually own anymore is what kills me.
I still love that South Park used Dying Fetus of all bands in an episode.
I've been going through the Death books and loving them.
We need more sweet focaccia recipes. I had some with a honey glaze and whipped ricotta and it was maybe the best bread I've ever eaten.
You know. OPEC has been unusually quiet this week. Can't imagine they would appreciate this.
Yup, rally around the flag is an old go to to stem bleeding approval. But I really do think Trump thought he could get the oil. He said the same thing about Iraq years ago.
I think it's worse than that. Like Lando, most people will tolerate or work with the evil until it hurts them directly and I get why. It's hierarchy of needs. It's hard to worry about the big picture ideas when you're mostly trying to just not die. When basic needs aren't met, the problem hits home and isn't some conceptual struggle anymore. Lando acted only when the deal went south.
I imagine they are as surprised as us. Satire done well should make you do a double take, but these days we might as well give the Onion a press pass if only to prevent them from accidentally stealing a byline.
I really want to doubt you, but I've been on the internet long enough to know you're right.
Think it comes off like that failed prototype in RoboCop2? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDsSrCFvz_A&t=1s
Definitely. Moreover, Aang in the netflix version wasn't really running away like original, so Bummi's bitterness comes off as unfair. Plus I feel like it messes with his whole neutral jing thing. The dude who let his city be occupied unopposed until the perfect moment for breakout shenanigans should be amused at the avatar's return, not bitter.
Yeah, often enough that ICE/DHS had to update their use of force rules twice (2018 and 2023) to tell them not to do it. Though those rules sure seem more like weak suggestions at this point.
Oh yeah, very true. Can't believe I forgot them. The added depth for Ozai was a great addition. I'm still salty about Bumi though.
100% agree, but really so did everyone in the movie and Netflix. Only Paul Lee really came close as Iroh. While I appreciate the added character bits they gave her in the Netflix show, she just came off as whiny not driven to a fault like the original.
