With that argument, people wouldn't be complaining for McD's to offer a livable wage since kids don't need to be financially independent.
If you get paid enough to live for just existing, why bother going to school?
Why would anyone push themselves to get a more lucrative but higher paying job if they can raise 3 kids on flipping burgers at a McDonald's?
Kinda beside the point, but I despise that recent YouTube ad for JB. He answers 3 non-politic questions to make him seem hip, and that's it.
So they just save themselves the hassle and do the police work regardless of whether or not a crime happened? Sounds pretty dumb to me.

A business is required to compensate a waiter if their tips don't add up to at least minimum wage, though.
Being able to give a tip is being able to voice your opinion. If your server did good, you can reward them. Or you can punish poor service.
But that doesn't mean she deserves to lose her source of income over a bit of customer embarrassment. 3/3
Things. Have some compassion while still standing up for yourself. Tell the supervisor what happened, but that is enough. She screwed up, /2
