I've seen it done with busses many times. Reduce the budget for maintenance, extra drivers, and reduce bus routes till they only run like once every two hours, and they're often late or cancelled. Then go "no one rides the bus! We should get rid of it"

My standard is pretty simple. If it's not hurting anyone you can do what you want. That's the liberty they claim to love. I mean actual harm that shows up with evidence and studies, like how forcing trans people to live as cis kills them
None of their ideals force their logic to be self-consistent. I mean, many of them are extremely religious, if their standard is that "if its hard to explain it's not true" and "if there are a lot of caveats you're making shit up" then just let them try and explain some of the contradictions in fundamentalist Christianity paired with supporting war and not helping poor people.

It didn't mention any of his main interests like guitar, it talked entirely about how devoted to god he was (he didn't plan to stay in the church once he was out of his parents control) it didn't mention suicide or being gay of course. They probably did the same for his eulogy but I don't know because they didn't invite his actual friends. Total bastards. Only concerned with saving face.

I lost a friend to suicide when I was in highschool. His parents are the ones who bullied him into it. He was gay in a Mormon family and they kept trying to convert him to straight, shaming him, trying to isolate him. His other friends and I would have tried to help but even though none of us were gay (as far as I know) they assumed the outsiders must be the sinners causing it and isolated him. They all but pulled the trigger for him. They even gifted him the shotgun.
