The Sphinx was fully excavated in late 1936. And while balloon photography was available, color photography was still in its infancy. Additionally the color photography for the time was at best, splotchy and very washed out. This, while not a high res digital photo taken by a DSLR camera, has reasonable resolution and clarity. This is why I placed the picture as likely later in the 70’s or early 80’s.
The oldest it could be is sometime around 1936. But since aerial color photography didn’t exist then… it is more likely from the 1950’s to 1960’s, if the archaeological team was willing to spend the enormous (for the time) amount of money on the picture. Most likely it was the mid-70’s to early 80’s
The worst (best?) thing the GOP could do is elect Trump as speaker of the house. It would ensure their replacement and a Dem majority after the next election.
And once again the Texas legislators exhibit their complete lack of knowledge and understanding of the law. They just want hunk of some BS thing, and then try it. 1) Trump is ineligible due to being indicted on high crimes charges. 2) They don’t have the votes. 3) Even if they could elect him, he wouldn’t be able to pass a single bill or change of rule before the election and the Dems would take a majority.

Not to mention that fact that they tend to burn through several gallons of fuel in 1/4 of a mile. The burn might be inefficient, but the raw power output is absolutely ridiculous. There are some drag racers that have more power output than a freight train engine running at full power. And the torque is off the charts.
They merely state it is “fundraising for their work with local and national libraries.” It makes no mention of what that work is and the statement is ambiguous enough not to breach wire fraud statutes.

The power generation isn’t the issue… it is the grid itself. Green energy doesn’t mean Jack squat if it doesn’t get to the user. And for all that clean and almost free energy, $2.50/KWh… jesus criminey… most of America only pays $0.17-$0.20 per KWh…

That’s $2.50 per KWh… when most places in America are only around $0.17-$0.20 per KWh… imagine your electricity bill being 10x higher because some nitwit doesn’t want to invest in building a more robust Electric grid… And those that are putting power back into the grid with their own power sources? They get $0.05 per KWh there…
I found it hilarious that the GOP flipped out that Hunter didn’t admit to abusing drugs on a gun application, when for the last 6 years that have been trying to get rid of the application he lied on.

If a person doesn’t understand why you choose not to be involved in a specific scenario, then either they don’t understand your problem, or they don’t care. With the former, a simple explanation should suffice. With the latter you may have to distance yourself from that person. Quitting, whether smoking, drugs or alcohol, isn’t a decision you make once and never think about again. It is a decision you make every day. Some days the decision is so easy you don’t even think about making it. Some days it is one of the hardest choices you have to make in your life. But the rewards for the RIGHT choice are immediate and noticeable. And it doesn’t have to be a “Yes or No” decision. This is one of the few cases where electric has yet to catch up to combustion engine. You would need a ridiculous amount of battery power (with the weight to go along with it) to match one of these cars raw power output.
It hurts. It feels like Triple H and Hulk Hogan teamed up to body slam you into one of those vibrating massage seats set to 12.0 earthquake, while getting a root canal and having your eyeballs squeezed by The Mountain. Meanwhile your insides feel like the worst case of gas and diarrhea you have ever experienced in your life just got a steroid booster shot.

Ummm…. Executive Orders cannot over-rule Constitutional Rights and Law. Just more evidence that a trump is trying to be a tyrannical Monarch. I bet the day two executive order would be the complete dissolution of the US Constitution.
